Rising Heat

Hott City's 'Feelin' Love' is a sure fire Disco burner from 1979, originally out on Butterfly. Kind of mellow & drifting, yet underpinned by a heady stew of popping boogie beats and warm space keys with some lush vocals right on top from Mildred Vaney & Ortheia Barnes (who were also part of Cut Glass). The track featured on their album 'Ain't Love Grand' which spawned their hits 'Peaks & Valleys' & 'I Took His Money'. It's sweet and melodic but also sorta electronic enough to appeal to those who need things to be a little more crazy. File under 'Almost Perfect'.
