What's That Sound?

Jez Proctor aka Brubekk (until recently a part of the very cool Horse Latitudes crew) has a new blog up called Innersounds , it's fast becoming a favourite too, it's already jammed with exclusives from Matthew Larkin Cassell (what a find), a deadly Brubekk edit of Flash In The Pan's 'Walking In The Rain', that awesome Pat Metheny 'Slip Away' (which you should already know I love), an Osmonds track (yeah that's what I thought, but give it a listen), John Forde's killer 'Stardance', oh and just a whole lot of goodness on one page. I have no doubt Innersounds is going to be very popular! Perhaps you also know about his track 'Earthshaker' released on Gamm, if not there are a couple for sale on Discogs, though I can't imagine why, I wouldn't sell mine. Anyway I shamelessly blagged some edits off the man to put up here and in attempt to give me an exclusive he went diggin deep into his archives and came up with a bunch of early edits. Jez is very modest about them and made sure I understood he didn't think they are quiet up to scratch for releasing purposes. I struggled a bit choosing one, I really dig them all, so I'll probably have to post another one a bit later. Here's the Brubekk edit of 'Georgy Porgy', nearly 10 minutes of bliss, extended with love from Jez.. beautiful!!!

Brubekk - Georgy Porgy

great site you have here, and i really appreciate what you're doing. BUT the site you're using for downloads, divshare, is hell on my mac. first their video ads totally crashed my safari browser. then i tried to send them a message to let them know, and it refused to let me enter the correct verification code (not to mention it erased the message i wrote every time i put in the wrong code). sorry for the novel, but thanks anyway!

Hi Daniel, I had so many complaints about zshare that I moved to divshare, which seems to have settled the issue... well until now. I can only suggest that the issue your having may be related to using Safari. as an experiment try uploading Firefox (seriously Im not sure why anyone uses anything other than firefox) and try downloading again... If anyone else is having this issue, please let me know, I really like divshare and zshare becuase it keeps a count of the downloads and is easy to use... I may eventually get my own domain, but not right away...
