Lumberjacks 002

Marcel Vogel's top class Lumberjacks In Hell label just released their second 12", which I reckon is one to add to the collection. Rare Wiri's Rayko hands in two great edits, of which his take on Barbara Kieth's cover version of 'All Along The Watchtower' is primo beard vinyl. Actually so is his stripped down re-write of Candi Staton's 'Nights On Broadway'. Marcel's own Em Vee edit reworks Alma Lee's version of 'Give Me Your Love' into a heavyweight cut up which, for me, will put him in the same class as Leonard Part Sixx (aka Underdog), Danny Krivit and the like. Also definitely keep a look out for Lih 003, an incredible double sider from Chicago's Traxx which will follow pretty soon... btw you might know the guy who designed the labels for this lovely record...
