Sugarplums

A little while back I was going on about The Ballistic Brothers and other Ashley Beedle led outfits. This morning I remembered i had this one sided limited edition 12" somewhere deep in my collection, where the Brothers take on Marden Hill's mid tempo classic 'Sugarplums'. It's jammed with instrumentation and dub fx which makes it quiet busy but it's pretty classic Soul Disco in a Black Science Orchestra style. Marden Hill did some fantastic stuff in their day, I'll make a point of handing over some of their material soon. The weekend is here, enjoy it.
