The Who?
Thought I'd go with a little more Herbie Hancock, in the form of this absolutely brilliant Yam Who dub edit of 'Stars in Your Eyes'. Apparently the original 1980 12" track is quiet rare, though it can be found also on his 'Monster' album. The Yam Who's, said to be an ex Nuphonic Records person or persons, have done some of the most incredible deep organic soulful stuff with some pretty great music, their edit of 'Skyy, Can You Feel Me' by Raphael Saadiq is perhaps one of their greatest. The Yam's take on 'Stars in Your Eyes' subtly extends the original into an almost all instrumental dub of Soul Disco loveliness.

early yam edits are just supa!! Skyy Can You Feel Me' by Raphael Saadiq is the nuts!!.. if you have that number keys may i ask for that as a yam request i had it on 12 but its now m.i.a the stars in ya eyes is a dance floor spinner never get tired of this track or the edit..
