its tuesday and im stepping into space...

Heading deep into space as seen through the eyes of Magical Ring back in 1977. Their album 'Magical Ring' contains 10 very tripped out tracks, with light touches of Space Disco, synth heavy meanderings, abstract textures, some Prog bits and surprisingly pop'ish (with a little p) tunes. It seems the album was also released, probably in a different territory, as 'Light Flight More & More', either way Beards, Cosmic Headz, Space Disco Junkies and any variety of those inclined to nod their heads and drift away to early electronica should hunt down the record. The recent Permanent Vacation Compilation of rare European library grooves from 1977 - 1984 called 'Space Oddities' (a wonderful record indeed) featured Magical Ring's brilliant 'Black Safari' also from this album. Jean-Pierre Decerf is one of the main players with Magical Ring, you'll find he's done a fair bit of top class Library stuff, if you see his name, grab it. Here is the Rock Disco wig out 'Light Flight', perfect for your next Beyond The Wizards night out...
