battened ships

In a perfect world, one might hear the below Slo Mo House jam followed by this incredible talcum powder requiring, Northern Soul'ish, hippy trip from Odyssey. I've had them up here before with their most well known track 'Our Lives Are Shaped By What We Love' but 'Battened Ships', from the same eponymous album, is an irrepressibly uptempo bomb. It has the same 'world wary' attitude as much else on the record, which is a plus for me (perhaps cheesy for others?) and it definitely deserves to be far better known... dopeness!!
