Black Merda's Hendrix influenced eponymous debut album is a sweet deal for Psychedelic Blues & Rock. Almost every track from the 1970 side is a winner. Black Merda were featured on the Psychedelic Funk cult 'Chains & Black Exhaust" cassette which began doing the rounds in early 2000's and found themselves the unwitting subjects of a new investigation into the outsider Black Rock scene. Their story is fascinating (google is your friend), it bumps shoulders with a number of heavyweight players from the time, though the spotlight seemed to miss their particular inferno the first time round and especially with this their first album...
