You, who come here looking for music, is all I need

I picked up a few Prelude 12"s recently from my new Disco pusher, the man is doing wonders for my collection. Starshine's "All I need is You" is early 80's smooth soul Disco which seems to be fairly available and at pretty good prices, which makes me think it's possibly a little underated. It's by no means one of those dancefloor killers, but rather gorgeous soothing stuff with lovely vocals and pretty keys. As is the case with most of Prelude's releases, Mr Kervorkian works his magic in the mix, essentailly creating a Proto House beauty which did actually feature on the 'Best of Prelude' compilation released sometime in the late 90's. Instead of taking time to record the vinyl, I ripped the cd for this track, I'm sure you can forgive me for that. Anyway I think this is just a great tune - check it out...

This track is seriously underated.

I've originally had this on a UK prelude comp from the late eighties but the pressing is so quiet I had to find the 12.

Great choice for the blog.
