keep on keepin on...

The original 7" of Le Frank 'O's 'Keep On Gettin' Down' on M M-M Gold is almost impossible to find (It's another one that comes with a Part1 on the one side and Part 2 on the other), but thanks to BBE (on their 'Soul Spectrum' comp) and also Joey Negro & Sean P (on their 'The Soul Of Disco' double), you really don't have to go hunting too far to find it on superbly mastered vinyl. Think of all those great Soul Funk & Disco tracks with the vocal refrain 'get on down' in them... this one is better. Some of you may also recognise it as the source track for KRL's superb 'Recession Beat' edit out on Wolf Music last year. Mmmm gold!!

I also have an edit by The Yorkshire Rapper made some years back which also is great. Have you heard that one?

OK - who are those two guys in the photo? I see them dancing down the front at almost every festival I go to in London. Thanks for all the great music by the way...
