Its Sunday so i thought id post something breezy, its a lovely winter day here in South Africa, sun is shining, air is crisp and i feel alive. Acid Jazz fans will know Bukky Leo well, he has worked with Tony Allen amongst others and has been championed by Mr Gilles Petterson, so he must be good right? This song 'Ake Bo Je' comes from his last album on MR Bongo which was produced by Ben Mitchell, its a great album which is a lovely blend of acid jazz, soul and afro beats. Its a must for anyone looking for that summer album to play outdoors, it also has a really good cover of Sade's Why Cant We Live Together'. Go get it if u like this sort of thing.
