navajo ho down

Don Armando's Second Avenue Rhumba Band (featuring Fonda Rae) was a one time offshoot of Dr Buzzard, they did one album in 1979 which came out on the brilliant ZE Records. Their self titled album contained the big hit 'Deputy of Love' but also a little crazy off beat number called 'I am an Indian'. The Magick Edit Allstars took on that little known chanting Disco item a little while back, re-named it 'Yes I am an Indian 2', edited it and released it on one of their brilliant 12"s. While it's a lot of fun, the basic groove is seriously infectious, expect smoke signals and leather tassels on your dance floor in no time....

Hey Kev - yeah I have, the Betty Botox stuff is fantastic. Twitch really pushes the originals into full on party mode...
