zee noid

Do I really need to rant about the Mangled, Noid, Bear Funk guys any more than i do? Dubbed up, wobbly Disco was practically invented by them, ok not really (think Talking Heads, Will Powers, Arthur Russel and many more). They have, however done their fair share of keeping that floor hot since the late 90's with a goldmine of left field dance edits & originals. 80's bass guitarist for Slaughter Joe (on Creation Records) turned editmeister Nathan Detroit's 'Znoid' from 2001 is a Fusion Disco, echoing epic made for talcum powder dancers. An absolute classic, anyone know what the original is?

Nathan Detroit - Znoid

note: so it turns out discogs has got it's Nathan Detroit's all compressed into one - fancy that. I'm told by a reliable source that this particular Nathan Detroit is in fact the one and only Dan Tyler of the Idjut's - had to be right? and not the afore mentioned bass playa for Slaughter Joe... tnx R
