The Horse, The Man and his Son

I have been meaning to put this up for some weeks now... A little while back in an Afro based discussion on DJHistory, Little Rock resident Ettiem posted two edits he'd done of some deep Afro grooves which were rather lovely. He's allowed me to stick one of them up here. Ettiem found the original on heavyweight Afro diggers site Awesome Tapes from Africa and has beautifully drawn out a chunk of this excellent track. Cutting up the original has given it a modern aspect; the perfect gem for an eclectic set or a really open-minded crowd. The original track is by Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey and his International Brothers called 'The Horse The Man and his Son' - loving this!!

Oh go and check out Ettiem's myspace to hear some other things he's worked on, gotta say I really dig 'Your Ice' and 'Little Something'
