beam 'em up...

I've been following Test Pressing for awhile now, it's a classy operation with really really good mixes from excellent dj's like Joylon, Lexx, a classic two part Alfredo influenced mix from the three kings Rocky, Diesel 'n Beedle, also Phil Misson, Danny Rampling and Apiento amongst other highly notables. More than that Test Pressing drop interviews with the likes of Dennis Bovel, their two part chat with Wally Badarou is essential reading for Compass Point aficionados, as well as a bunch of magazine articles, cultural things of interest and plenty really good music. One of the big guys over there, Apiento, runs his own production and edits site called Apiento.com; you'll find he hasn't put anything new up there in quiet awhile, but this matters not, as all the links are still live and the tracks (all) are unquestionably worth downloading (my favorite today is his own track 'Four In The Morning Mix', a musical doodle of much beauty). I've discovered that Apiento is working away in his studio on new things and some vinyl releases are in the offing. Anyway he has kindly given us this really marvelous edit of Supersempfft's 'Let's Beam Him Up', so good, so good I tell ya. Space is definitely the place... Thank you very much Apiento...

too right Szandor - the original vocal is damn nice, but i dig the edit a lot, i think using both might be excellent fun! also of course a nice way to introduce those that don't know Apiento and his lovely site...
