It's Record Store day around the planet today... I got mine, I hope you got yours. So to celebrate I'm posting an all vinyl mix from Ukraine Balearic head Serge Jazzmate. Serge contacted me some years ago and send me a rather wonderful mix, which I'm ashamed to say I never posted. He's a persistent fella is our Serge, he send me another mix (this one) and a bunch of emails ensuring that I get on with it and show some love on anoe. The fact is the mix is lovely and Mr Jazzmate is a consummate professional and a heavy player on the Ukraine scene. Of course you know Pavel Plastikk, the guy Serge worked together with to create LOW, a regular top night at Club Xlib in Kiev, and you'll know most of the big spinners he's played alongside. Mang, Webster, Kohncke, Lindbaek and the like. For 'Heroes of Legions' the man heads out on a western tinged trip to Balearica. Thanks so much Serge!
