Fun with Alan Parsons...

Alan Parsons began his career as an engineer on the album Abbey Road and went on to become the co-architect of Dark Side Of The Moon. Much maligned over the years, Alan was in fact quite a chap and was extensively sampled by DJ Shadow on Endtroducing. Grey Lagoons decided to do a mix of all the Project tracks that have recently become recognized by D. J.'s all over the world. The mix includes Voyager and What Goes Up... which were used by The Quiet Village Project to create their track Pillow Talk. There are a few other tracks in there that some of you might remember from your childhood. Apparently the Lagoons were totally amped about this mix and their only hope is that it is a fitting tribute to a cultural icon that has been brought in from the cold.

My dad used to play all this sort of stuff when I was a kid, loved the track 'the fall of the house of husher:IV pavane',from the 'Tales of Mystery & imagination' album, some nice orchestral sounds. Might give it a post.

Ah HA! Totally awesome to see you're still blogging! Was terribly sad at the discontinuation of your blog with the unpronounceable title.
