Diamonds in the Dust

I'm pretty sure those kings of sound at Dilated Choonz already had this up last year but being that the original features South African's Lady Smith Black Mambazo and it's a beautiful Saturday morning here in pre-winter SA, I figured this rather brilliant heavily dubbed Todd Terje edit of Paul Simon's 'Diamonds On The Soles Of Her Shoes' would be the perfect upload. Mr Simon was certainly not the first to co-opt SA sounds for big hit releases in the west, Malcolm Mclaren beat him to it in the early 80's with tracks for his 'Duck Rock' album, needless to say Paul's 'Graceland' would outsell Mclaren's by quiet a long shot.

Hey Chris!
It was the flip that we posted - the Terje edit of Give me your Love by Curtis. But this is just great, too. Paul Simon in space - you gotta love it...
