it's heaven when you're 17

Massive thanks to Shawn Ryan of Dollar Bin Jams for dropping me this lovely edit of Electro pioneers and personal favorites Heaven 17. I have to say while also being a big Human League fan (especially the early stuff and the dub album), I was particularly fond of Glen Gregory's voice on top of Ian Craig Marsh & Martyn Ware's post League 80's angle funk. 'This Is Mine' was released as a single in 1984 and featured on their 'How Men Are' album. Ryan's done a great job 're-focusing' the track, utilizing parts of their own 'Filmix' to create a Pop/Disco Not Disco groover. Synths (good and cheesy) abound!!!

Heaven 17 - This Is Mine (Filmix - Shawn Ryan Edit)

By the way Dollar Bin Jams has been posting excellent stuff lately (always?) so if you're not checking them - go to it
