bit 8

Think a young Prince living in Jimi Tenor's basement and you've sort of got an angle on Jitwam Sinha's 'Bit 8', a deep 'n sweaty, late nite, space jam from his unreleased 'Dark Matter and Freedom Drums EP'. Jitwam is kind of, as yet, undiscovered talent from Sydney, you must check his really cool biography which he made for this post and give his blog The Jazz Diaries a visit, most importantly check out the track; with Blade Runner era Vangelis like keyboard work or maybe even a touch of Dexter Wanzel and Jitwam's intimate and freeform vocals, 'Bit 8' is a bedroom beats beauty which I reckon has something a bit special going on... what say you?
